Hi, I just got a new Macbook Air with Thunderbolt 4/USB-C ports and could not get my ASI2600MM Pro and ASI290MM mini to both connect to the TSX at the same time. I had the ASI2600 connected to the computer using a USB-C to USB3 adapter and the ASI290 was connected to the internal hub in the ASI2600. I'm using TheSkyX Pro and tried the ASI X2 drivers 3.4 (that comes with the latest TSX) and v 3.29 which is the latest on the ZWO website, both with the same results. Sometimes TSX would see only the ASI2600 and sometimes only the ASI290, but never both. If I connected and got the ASI290, I could unplug it and then TSX would see the ASI2600.
KStars and PHD2 see both cameras fine, so the connection seems ok.
After much debugging, I found that if I connect each camera to a different USB-C port, everything works fine. I had this system running fine on an older macbook with USB3 ports instead of USB-C and it worked fine running the ASI2600 to the computer and connecting the ASI290 to the hub in the ASI2600.
I finally saw a post about this on the Software Bisque forum and someone discovered the same work around (separate USB-C ports). This was 2 years ago. I assume the issue is in the X2 driver? Any plans to fix this?
