asicap android freezes

Hi. Nice program. I use it to make an electronic eyepiece with asi178mc.
But. Video freezes frequently. Usually after a resolution change.
However, the program continues to display the temperature of the camera.
Sometimes the video is restored after changing the resolution again.
I use MI a3 phone. Upgrading the system from android 10 to 11 make things worse.
Only reconnecting the camera helps.

Maybe some settings in android will help?
Do you have beta versions?
Could you add the ability to reset the camera without reconnecting?

Did you change the ROI while it is capturing a stream? If so, try first stopping the stream, wait a couple of seconds, then change the ROI and restart the stream again. See if that is more reliable.

I have found many of ZWO's programs to not be thread safe (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thread_safety) and stopping one thread (streaming) before changing the ROI may be a work around, if that is the problem that you are encountering (the temperature reading could be coming from a thread that did not crash).

Thank you for suggestion. Unfortunately, asicap for android has no controls to start and stop stream (at least i can not found they).
