EAF initial position wrong

Hi,
for some reason, my EAF never remembers what the position was last time I used it. Whenever I connect it
again, the initial position is reported by NINA, TheSkyX,... whatever software I use, to be 4761 (or 4762 or 4763).
I thought the device should internally store its last position, but seems not to be the case.
Please notice I've just updated both the ASCOM driver and the firmware of the EAF, to no avail...
Is there any option I must check somewhere? It's kind of painful having to reset the focuser to a certain position
to start the imaging session.

fmazzanti When did you buy this EAF? and what is the firmware version of your EAF?

Please notice that I have tried to check / uncheck the 'reconnect' button in the EAF ASCOM driver with the same bad results...

Hi,
I bought it in Novemeber 2022. It is the newer version that does not require external 12V power.
And yesterday I updated the firmware to the latest version, I think it is 3.3.7 ...but I'm not sure. What I know is that I updated yesterday to the latest firmware I could find in the ZWO web page. Still the same results...

Sorry but... what do you want me to record? It is plain simple to understand: whenever I connect the EAF from a previous session, it reports the position to be always 4762, without restoring the value of the previous night. This is the ASCOM driver, latest version and firmware, all from your e web site. TheSkyX, NINA report the same as they use your ASCOM driver.
Could you please you suggest something or provide detailed instructions without taking few days to reply?

fmazzanti It needs to be shipped back to us for repair if the position always is 4762. but you said it also to be 4761 or 4763, that may not be the problem we said, so we need a video that record the problem(from you setting the position then disconnecting and reconnecting it to see if the position was remembered)
