paulchen It seems that it is necessary to remove the complete filterwheel inside the EFW, to mount it via screws to the camera. But how is the wheel fixed?
Open the EFW shell. (Lots of small screws on the periphery of the EFW.)
Then remove the three screws holding the bearing of the carousel to the wheel shell, all located near the carousel bearing.
Lift the carousel out of the EFW shell carefully, making sure you don't disturb that cheap o-ring that runs on the circumference of the carousel -- that is the "gearing" mechanism to turn the carousel.
You can then find the countersunk holes to attach the wheel to the camera (and allow long-edge or short-edge sensor orientation).
Take copious pictures while you are disassembling, documenting each step, so you can retrace later (the modern version of using a string to find you way back to a cave entrance when spelunking :-).
Do a EFW calibration pass after you are done assembling everything back.
Be sure to apply electrical tape where the stepper motor fits -- light leaks up the wahzoo in ZWO filter wheels.
