EAF Questions Manual Doesn't Answer

I'm setting up the EAF on my Edge HD 8" for the first time.

What constitutes 0 position? Does this mean when the telescope is focused on a star?
the AF Exposure time defaults to 2". Should I leave it there? When should it be altered?
What does "Reverse" do?
I don't have any USB 2.0 ports left on my ASIAIR Plus, the guide scope and mount are using them. Can I plug the EAF into the USB 3.0 port without issue?

1 Usually set the 0 positions when the focuser tube totally retracted.
2 Need to adjust it if using a narrowband filter. you can check the image in preview mode.
3 Change the rotation direction of EAF shaft
