EOS filter drawer M54 thread

I have ASI 6200MC and I used it with several Canon lenses. The EOS filter drawer has an internal diameter of only 38 mm on the camera side, and the full-frame sensor has a diagonal of 43 mm. This causes significant vignetting, which almost cannot be corrected by the master flat frame.
@ZWO: do you plan to manufacture and offer an EOS filter drawer, having directly M54 or at least M48?
I found out that there is a discontinued M54 filter drawer. It can still be purchased from other vendors. So I was thinking to unscrew the M54 part and attach it to the EOS adapter - would it fit? Is this side detachable?

Hi Chen,
Thank you very much for the re-post. This is exactly what I wanted to know. I am going to order the old M54 filter drawer and Frankenstein it with my EOS adapter.
