Which camera?

Hi, I have a zwo294 camera but am thinking about getting a 533 but as always I have questions,
Are there any benefits in getting the 533 other than the ampglow situation?
I would attach it to my Sharpstar 94 and the ASIAIR plus, and will be processing everything using Pixinsight.

denababy you'd get slightly better resolution with the 533, (1.5 arc seconds per pixel vs. 1.85 arc seconds per pixel with the 294). Not sure how noticeable that would be in your finished images. I have the 533, but not the 294. Aside from the limited sensor size, I do really like the camera.

Thanks guys.
I live in a really light polluted area, I have a street light about ten feet from my scope. I’ve tried to set up in others places in the garden but if it’s not the street light then it’s the neighbours security lights. I’ve spoken to them but as yet no cooperation.
Due to these issues and the lack of clear skies there seems to be two arguments - why bother as the problems won’t go away - due to the lack of clear skies I want to make the most of whatever time I have, so, I want to get the best equipment I can to go with my Sharpstar94.
I’ll wait a bit longer and maybe be able to afford something that will give me the results I want.

Right I’ve decided to save and get the more expensive camera but after watching a few videos there seems to be a few issues that require the sensor to be eventually cleaned so, I need to buy a sensor cleaning kit but after looking at loads of them online I am confused, which is the best one to get? Anyone advise please.

denababy Don't worry, we have controlled this problem around 2 years ago.

denababy I have never had this issue with mine and have both the 533 and 2600 and my advice is… get the 2600 as the format and extra bit depth is worth it!
