New Mini firmware update fail

New ASIAIR Mini wants firmware update, but it fails at the reconnect point.

Made sure only ASIAIR hotspot is available.

Googled my brains out.

Any brains here have a solution?

Can it access the internet?

Corsair they sent me a PDF and I followed the explicit instructions exactly. The last instruction was to specify a time for the online support session which I did. I waited for 45 minutes. No one connected! WTF? I left the system and Mini running. I sure hope someone can solve the problem.

This morning I received a message saying they had created a test version that should solve the problem….but they didn’t do the remote fix!

So, because of time zone differences I’m out of business for another 24 hours!

Is it possible that the new test version is available somewhere where I can download it now?

Just received an email indicating that the new software could be downloaded and installed with TestFight app.

It worked! Firmware install ran to completion.

On restart app didn’t ask for another firmware up date. Problem appears to be solved.

So, are the steps you followed in the pdf, the app you downloaded, etc all specific to your case? Or can you post it all here?

Corsair The steps were just to get a remote support program running…which they never used. Apparently the problem was a known issue and the patched it in a test version. If you’re enjoying the same issue I’m sure they make sure you get access the patch too.

Yes, we made a temporary test version to fix this problem, you can directly contact us for that if you have the same problem, or wait for the public test version, it will be released very soon.
