My rig was running well tonight when I suddenly got an error from NINA: "ZWO Driver Error - Error retrieving image data from camera!" I haven't done any upgrades to the system in the last few weeks and it's been running well all that time. It's installed in a remote-controlled observatory, so I haven't even physically touched it in all that time.
I tried many things to resolve this: disconnecting all other USB devices from the computer and ASI2600MM hub, new USB cable, power cycling camera and computer, unplugging/plugging USB, and using a different computer. The problem persists.
I also tried the ASI imaging application instead of NINA. It also fails to download an image, but there's no error message. The application connects to the camera and shows the expected information, such as sensor temperature and cooler power. I'm also able to turn the cooler on and it seems to work as expected.
Any suggestions to resolve this? Do I need to send the camera for repair?
