Newbie ASIStudio RA/Dec Question

Hello! I'm fairly experienced with the ASIAir Plus and IOS app, but am brand new to ASI Studio. It looks promising, and in a quick test today, I was able to find most of the functions I'll need. I do have what is probably a dumb question about having the mount go to a specific RA/Dec location.

In the ASIAir app, there is an input window to enter the coordinates, hit "Go To", and the mount slews to the target and plate solves. I can't find a similar feature in the ASI Mount Controller software. Is it in a different location in the ASIStudio suite? Will I need to go a different route (i.e. separate plate solving software and sync it to the Mount)? I'm assuming there is a better way than manually slewing to the target. 🙂

How is everything connected with USB cables to your computer?

You need to make sure you have all the right drivers installed to control the mount, etc.

Generally, you would use other software - such as NINA or Sharpcap (there are others) - to control the mount and, if you're doing it, guiding as well.

You'll need to use that other software to make sure you're polar aligned as well.

You can also use Stellarium to for Go To ....but I'm not sure if it does any plate solving or anything....

3/4. I'll be using ASIStudio for only lunar/solar, so no guidescope/guide camera will be used. I'll continue to use the ASIAir Plus/iPad app (which all works excellently) for DSO.
USB 3.0 cable from camera to laptop, "non-3.0" USB from AM5 to laptop.

I downloaded and installed the ASIStudio software today, and everything started up and connected/was recognized immediately. I can adjust camera exposure/gain, video capture resolution, start and stop capture in the ASICap program. I can use the arrow buttons in the Mount Controller software to manually slew the mount in RA and in Dec. In the Mount Controller portion of the ASICap program, I couldn't find a place to enter "go to" RA/dec coordinates as the ASIAir app has. Perhaps that will be a job for Stellarium.
