Has anyone tried the new -25 gain setting on these cameras yet? Just curious if there is any real world experience in regards to any issues such as increased banding or artifacts. Some older cameras like the 183mc pro did not work well at maximum FWC, but that was also at far below unity gain, but they did work well at half unity gain. I know that this setting allows these 2600 cameras to finally achieve unity gain while upping the read noise a bit and an extended FWC. Just checking before I build a new calibration file library for doing broadband targets with fast glass and no filters…as my skies will not allow me to test right now and have been cloudy for over a month now. Thanks in advance.
Asi2600 duo/ 2600mc/mm pro negative gain setting.
I haven't noticed any difference in -25 and 0 gain on the 2600 Duo. Here is a daytime shot at -25 gain with a .001 exposure on C8 hyperstar. Don't know if it'll help

Kevin_A This problem should be fixed in the latest public test version, could you update it and try again?https://bbs.zwoastro.com/d/17089-asiair-v212-public-beta-released/40
