EFW 7 position 50mm does not work properly in TheSkyX with Mac

I have a Mac running TheSkyX. I updated the EFW plug in to Driver 1.7 Model EFW SDK V1,7. The filter wheel gets lost at some point and eventually keeps turning and ends up on the correct filter but gives error 206 and you have to click on the error message to move again. I just got it but I am concerned the error will stop the imaging routine. Is this a broken filter wheel or is there something else wrong?

The error is for loss of connection. On the earlier version the ZWO drivers in TSX it crashes TSX. On the new one it loses connection but does not crash. Something is wrong. The Filter Wheel is lost. I tried it on ASI Studio. The same thing happened and it says the FW is blocked or slipping. It was making a grinding noise at first and I took out and reinstalled and tightened the FW disk. Is there something else I can do or is this not working properly?

rchozick Can you please remove the back plate and recalibrate the EFW in ASIStudio and take a video to show us the calibration process?

About the disconnect problem, can you see any damage on the USB port? please try different USB cables and ports, do not use the hub.

I tried it in Asistudio, plugged directly in the computer and calibrated and it worked fine this time. I tried again in TSX and it failed once and then I disconnected it and tried again and I could not get it to fail. I isolated the problem. The usb port on my new ASI6200MM does not pass enough power to run the filter wheel. The FW only fails when run through the camera. Is this normal? Shouldn't the camera run a filter wheel? The best I can do is plug it into a hub on my setup. The setup is too far away to have a separate usb into the computer. Does this mean my camera is defective or does the 2 inch filter wheel not work in camera hubs?

I do use a 5A power supply on the 6200MM

I used a power supply I had at home and not the ZWO version I have at my remote observatory. I ordered a ZWO power supply and will test this again when I get it.

rchozick Thanks, is there other device connect to the other USB port on the ASI6200MM Pro?
And what is the specification of the power supply you use to power the camera? too long cables may cause voltage drop.

The ZWO power supply and updating the filter wheel plug in for The Sky took care of the issue. The FW works fine connected to the camera in TSX. Thanks.
