I have an ASIAir Plus 256 using with an new AVX mount and I'm having two major issues.
- Mount disconnects when using guiding and imaging.
- Mount slew réponse issues when using the ASIAir Plus App to manually slew the mount. DEC direction controls keep slewing for sevaral seconds when you lift off your finger from the direction icon.
The second issue has a workaround, just use the hand control If you manually need t to slew.
The first issue is a show stopper. When the mount disconnect error appears guiding is shut down. You have to connect the mount in the App and start up guiding. Impossible to collect even an hours worth of data without constant interruptions.
I have two Bug reports open on these issues and ZWO is working on them.
I don't see anyone else reporting these issues, maybe because its just a 256g version problem and not many users have them and those that have them don't have an AVX mount. The 256g version hardware has gotten away from the Pi architecture.
