Timsastro Should have been released long time ago... Honestly, go for an alternative brand : there are plenty alternatives much better than zwo ecosystem, with better customer support (and known the price we are paying, we could expect a very high customer support level).
Looks like ZWO is more interested in selling S50 to a larger panel of customers.
ZWO Rotator Status?
Raph382 It does seem that way
I regret that I did not buy a rotator from a friend from another manufacturer at a tempting price. I wanted to stay faithful to ZWO, I've been waiting for a year since then, apparently in vain. ZWO once made a breakthrough for astrophotographers with their cameras, but now they seem to have been forgotten, moving to a more mass consumer.

77pro Everything in this hobby is a “luxury”. A camera rotator is very much a necessity when imaging on multiple nights. Particularly with the Asiair’s ability to use a previous subframe for framing. If you’re doing a mosaic, it can make the difference between possible or not.
If they aren’t releasing it soon, the least they could do is add Ascom support for other devices.
CAA will be released soon, so stay tuned.
Tech@ZWO Any clue when
Watched a couple of reviews now. Is it correct, that the Rotator can ONLY be mounted in a way that the Filterwheel comes in between camera and rotator? It makes sense for flat field consistency. But if the FW moves in the direction of the pier, it may crash on smaller rigs. Can a „no go“ zone be defined for the Rrotator to avoid harmful positions around the meridian?

Stephan
Dec 26 it should be announced? Price....$299 to $399 I think is the range, so $349 is my guess...
Christopher
It is absolutely crazy that ZWO has announced its CAA, and reviews are popping up all over YouTube, yet you cannot order it anywhere. It does not even appear on the ZWO store.
viperduude looks like one of the shops in Canada listed it early by mistake. I happened to see it and I pre-ordered it on the 22nd. They've removed the page now, but I do have the confirmation email that it is ordered.
DeepSkyAtlas What was the price?
john_robertson1953 it was $419 CAD, which converts to about $291US, so my guess will be $299 US.

1950 元 / 268$ here in China.
$299 USD on the ZWO website right now.
I ordered it.
EFW 8 x 1.25″(31mm) It has an M42 hole, and there is no adapter for this size in the CAA package, only M54 and M48. What should I do?
SFDgxzzs Purchase an adapter M48/54F to M42M. This is provided that CAA has the M54/M48 male connector and EFW M42 female. Remember to check what the optical length of adapter is so that you can get the backfocus right.
Probably the best way to set up the image train is: Camera -> EFW -> Rotator -> (spacer(s) for backfocus) -> Telescope.
J’ai un correcteur de coma + roue à filtre efw + la caméra, il faut placer le CAA où ?
