What is the Range of WIFI ASIAir Plus

Hi people my name is Lukasz and I just got ASIAir Plus what is the WIFI Range of it?

Wifi range on the ASIAIR Pro is about two inches, so I imagine on the Plus it's at least four inches. If I put my phone so it's touching the ASIAIR, then 50% of the time it connects.

Do I need to do Star Aligment with my mount when using Asir Plus?

How are you powering the ASIAIR, your mount, your camera(s), etc?

In terms of Wi-Fi Range:
In ideal conditions the range of the ASIAIR Plus would be up to 20m.
However a lot of things impact Wi-Fi range - Positioning of the antenna (so if you mount the ASIAIR to your OTA, the antenna moves as well, which can impact it), other Wi-Fi signals in the area (the more densely populated, the more noise), the materials the signal has to pass through (e.g. concrete walls, etc), the weather, etc etc.

I have not tried it outside yet but I have hooked up the ASIAIR Plus to my mount in my room and I did some tests in room and its working with my tablet and WIFI works well with ASIAIR Plus, Also my ZWO Camera I listed works with ASIAIR Plus as well but we will see when have time maybe in Spring

On alignment - thankfully no, with the ASIAIR you never need to do star alignment ever again!

First you use the Polar Align feature to get polar aligned (no more looking through the mount scope) and then afterwards Plate Solve will precisely align the mount in about two seconds. It's super easy.

Star Alignment was time consuming and laptops usb cables were to long and crowded, I inserted Micro SD 256 GB into the external reader into ASIAIR Plus, my laptop has Micro SD Reader as well I also got Latitude and Longtitude
