Video autorun mode for ASIair (Plus)

Lately the weather was finally good enough to test my new ASIair Plus and my new Lunt 40mm.
It’s very easy to use and I can produce some
stunning images, but what I‘m missing is a mode that lets me automate taking short videos in order to create a timelapse. Like the features from Sharpcap or Firecapture, where you can set a recording time and a sleep time and how often this should be repeated.
Would be awesome to have something like this added with a software update. Since on board stacking of videos is already possible, this could be the next step for solar/planetary/lunar photography. This would also be helpful e.g. to create an animation of Jupiters rotation.

Has there been any progress on this? I'd really like to be able to do proper solar time-lapses.

I was very excited to get my new ASI678MC-Pro camera for Christmas. First target - Jupiter. Imagine my surprise when there was no video capability in autorun. I imagine one issue is that a planet may not stay centered with a small ROI.. That said, I'd like to vote for the ability to have Autorun Video anyway. If there were an ability to set a gap interval between videos, maybe that can be used to allow manual recentering before the next video begins. But the video timing will be regular, at least, making for much smoother time-lapse vids.
