I'm interested in learning how to stack multiple sessions. So far, I haven't had enough days with clear skies.
Anyway, from what I understand, for a "perfect" stacking process conducted by several people, the orientation of, for example, M51, has to be approximately the same. But how much time difference is too much?
For testing, you need to reach out to people and ask them to take a 5-minute capture of M51. How should the data be organized?
I'm not sure how many users are using the forum, but as a test, maybe a Dropbox folder could be shared?
Also, providing a nice quick guide on using Siril would be great. I've learned a little, but it seems like the color adjustments etc depends on the user. So, maybe use Siril to autostack the images on a server at some point using a "default" setting to update a preview when new images are uploaded. Then, in the end, someone could manually stack and adjust the images for the best performance.
I could probably help running Siril on a VPS and make some scripts to automate this.
