The available memory on my s50 is down to 19gb even though I've deleted all my images from it. Tried to erase memory through the Android app as well as wifi and direct connection to my macbook.
Tried using finder through the mac in hopes of formatting the s50 also. No luck.
anyone else having this problem, or have any suggestions? Started w the firmware update before the latest.

I guess what would help is a file browser or just formatting the SD card 
mtnlion667 I didn't realize this was a thing until just a minute ago, but if you tap on the text that shows the remaining storage it brings up a screen that shows a breakdown of the memory used for system and image storage, and there's a Clear button which should wipe it all out. It's possible that if you initially deleted the files from your Macbook that it just moved em into a hidden trashcan.

Thank you for the reply. Maybe the hidden trash can is the case, I'll have to try a deeper dive than just using Finder.
I tried clearing the memory several times using the mobile (android) app by the method you described, but no luck.
Going to borrow a windows laptop from a friend this week and see if I can't format the storage. Mac doesn't give me the option wether I'm connected via usb or wifi.
could be that my android phone and my wife's macbook are both a few years old...
mtnlion667 You can increase storage by deleting Seestar files, or transfer Seestar image files to your computer, and we will develop a cache clearing function in the future.
AstroImg@ZWO thank you for the reply. I have already transfered all of the files from the seestar to a thumb drive via the laptop. The only files remaining on the seestar are the "system volume information".
the emmc images folder is still on top. No images stored there. System volume info is very small.
still only have 19gb available.
A file browser solved it. Thank you. I was trying to use finder...
It was a hidden trash can. Put a better file browser on the mac and found it. thank you
Good evening, I always take the data off my Seestar as I'm excited to process the data collected, however, I now only have 50g of storage. Using Windows 11 pro, 
. Is it possible to get back to the original 64g? I've tried the app for formatting the storage, and it shows there is 7.7g used for system storage, and is unaffected by formatting. That being said, there's now showing in the app, 7.7g used out of 58g of total, Windows only reports what I've attached.
I think I read yesterday in the FAQ that you will have 50 only , the rest is for the system.
