Does ZWO have any plans to produce a camera that is monochrome and has 2-chip configuration; one chip for imaging and one chip for guiding?

skyguy Yes, it's on the todo list, may i know which model are you intersted in?

skyguy monochrome and has 2-chip configuration

That is asking for trouble -- you will need to recalibrate guiding each time you change filters.,

Yes, the ASI2600MC, but in the monochrome format. This would be so useful to those in the exoplanet transit observation field. We only use one or no filters.

Not really. For our exoplanet transit observations we only use one filter or sometimes no filters.

Thank you! I purchased one recently. I am trying to put the new camera to use on my exoplanet research. I am getting a "Receive Time-Out Error=209 when I try to operate both chips at the same time. I am operating the ASI2600MM/DUO from the latest version of TheSkyX Pro on a Windows 10 computer with all of the latest ASCOM and ASI drivers per the directions on line. Yet, the two cameras (image sensor and guide sensor) will not provide images when used at the same time. I am running the camera directly into the computer with a USB 3 cable into a USB3 port on the computer.
