I've had several Meridian Flips failed recently while using narrowband filters (3nm SHO) at long focal length. The combination of small star size due to narrowband filter and few number of stars at long focal length sometimes makes it difficult to platesolve. For that reason, I typically start each object with one frame shot in Luminance so that platesolving and autocentering at the start will be performed on L. However, this is not possible when Meridian Flip happens while shooting in narrowband.
It would be very helpful to default the EFW to a specific filter slot (for example, Luminance) when performing autocenter following a Meridian Flip. Not only would this take much faster; the chance of returning to the correct spot is also much higher.
