Power cable.

Hi I’m not sure where this post is supposed to go, someone move it if I’ve got it wrong but I have an AM5mount and use a power cable that has a cigarette type connector that goes into the Jackery battery. My question is, is there another cable that fits the AM5 but has a different connector such as a USB- c? Anyone advise please.

denababy the power needs to be 12v. USB is only 5v max. The plug type that plugs into the mount can be the same on the other end and plugged into the 12v jackery port.

I need the exact cable as I’m prone to order the wrong thing.

denababy the 12v DC power cable needs to be 1.5 to 2metres long DC 5.5 * 2.1mm standard plug male on both ends. Hope this helps.

Hi Kevin, I’ve looked on my Jackery 240 battery and the only place I can find is the cigarette type connector the other where the cable, the same connector,as the am5, is for charging as it says input. Where is the correct connector port on the battery?

denababy sorry, you are correct. I have a different brand of power supply that has usb, 12v and 120v outputs. The 240 only has usb, 120v and a 12v cigarette type port. Your choices are the cigarette or use a 12v transformer with a DC5.52.1 plug plugged into the 120v port. The cigarette port style is still best at 12 volts with a DC5.5 2.1plug.
