I had some images on the Asair Plus eMMC that I wanted to access, so connected to the unit via my home network wifi to my Mac Book Pro I retrieved images ok, but when I went to use the Asiair+ immediately afterwards I have encountered a problem. When I try to take a capture I get messages on the screen saying the main camera, guide camera, EAF, and mount have been disconnected and I need to reconnect manually. I reconnect manually and try to take a capture and the exact same thing happens - they all get disconnected with the same message. I can still connect to unit via the app and make changes to settings etc but I can't take any images because everything disconnects as soon as I try. The Asiair will not even drive the mount, I just get a buzzing sound but no movement when I try to reposition mount using the direction pad in app.
I have changed the usb ports that everything is plugged into - doesn't fix
I thought I might have somehow corrupted the eMMC so I reset back to factory & updated to latest firmware / reloaded app to Ipad - doesn't fix (Does a factory reset put a new copy of the OS onto the unit/fix any corruptions on the eMMC? If not is there a way to re-instal OS?)
I've searched the forums but can't find anyone reporting a similar problem...hope someone has a suggestion for what else I can try to fix the problem. Any advice appreciated
TIA
