Some acquisition software allows you to input filter focus offsets. These can be used to adjust the focus when filters are changed, without triggering a full refocus. When acquiring comet data there are advantages to interleaving the filters - ie RGBRGB..., rather than R..RG..GB..B. However, if a refocus is triggered between each filter change this means a lot of "lost" time spent focusing. In this case it would be very useful to use a filter offset to facilitate the switching between filters. I don't think this is currently possible with the ASIAIR but I would love to discover I am wrong and it can be done. If it is not currently possible, is there any chance the development team could consider adding it?
