New M54 v2 Filter Drawer and OAG-L - How to Connect?

Hello, I have just purchased the new version (2) of the ZWO M54 filter drawer in order to attach it to my OAG-L (which I have yet to use, even though I have had it for almost two years. When I purchased the new filter drawer, there was a statement to the effect that it was compatible with the OAG-L.

However, I cannot see how it is possible to attach the new filter drawer to the OAG-L as the OAG-L has no thread and only four screw holes intended for a filter wheel!

Is this a design flaw or oversight? What am I missing here? Can someone please explain how the filter drawer can be attached to the OAG-L?

I would be grateful for any advice on how this problem can be resolved.

Bolt the OAG to the EFW using those 4 bolts. They should be small M2.5 screws that are 31mm away from the center of the EFW hole.

Thanks for your reply, but I am not using an EFW- I want to attach only the M54 filter drawer (new version). There is no way to connect it (it has M54 and M48 screw threads only, not holes for attaching the drawer), from what I can see.

Where did you find that ZWO say that their filter drawer will work will work with the OAG-L? I did not find that. They only mentioned the EFW.

If you really want to use the OAG-L with a filter drawer, it is easy to drill and tap some M2.5 holes in a filter drawer. Just 4 holes. Takes you no more than 15 minutes.

I just measured the diameter of the v2 filter drawer and it is 69mm. So the holes that are 31mm from the center that you need to drill and tap should fit nicely in the space.
