This weekend I had a similar problem. I set my plan details which included a meridian flip. 43 images were taken prior to the flip, then nothing afterwards, Also the ASI air did not generate a plan log for the evening. This same issue happened on 2 consecutive evenings and after it happened on the first, I checked all the setting on the ASI air to ensure they were correct. On both nights no plan log was generated so I am unable to determine the cause.
Here is what I had done in my plan.
Target IC1396
Start time 9:45pm
Set for 200 images of 120 seconds each
meridian flip set for 5 minutes before meridian,
Auto focus ever 1 hour, dither every 2 images
Autoguiding reset after flip
return to home position after plan completes
shut down ASI air after plan is finished.
Equipment Mount: Celestron Advanced AVX, camera Canon t4i, ZWO 120mm mini guide camera, ZWO EAF, plus my guide scope and primary imaging scope 80mm, 440 focal length.
any thoughts would be helpful as at the moment I am not confidant in the software and leaving a plan to run as this past weekend ( which was the only clear nights in the past month) I was supposed to have roughly 13 hours of data to work with and I ended up with less than 2 hours in total so I am a bit disappointed at the moment.
