Canon connection issue with Asiair mini

I recently upgraded the mini’s firmware to 11.06 and now I can’t connect my main camera. It’s a Canon 800D (T7i). I turn it on, select it from the menu, and slide the switch to the right as usual. It stays connected for 10 seconds, then disconnects. I get a warning that the camera needs to be plugged in manually. The camera is not listed in the menu anymore, so I have to turn it off and on to start the whole procedure again and the same thing happens. Has anyone reported this issue? I also connected my Canon 760D with no issues. Go figure. Any help is deeply appreciated.

Ok. I figured out the problem. Somehow in my camera settings the “auto off” was selected at 10sec instead of disabled. That accounts for the error message. However, now in the main camera settings, it recognizes my camera and I switch it on, but when I go to the preview screen, the camera icon is greyed out.
Another issue. I reinstalled the old firmware, but there is no way to go from the install screen to the preview screen. Any thoughts? Thank you.

I’m on the About page, but do not see Defect Feedback. Under “Bug report” tab, there is a switch to “upload logs.” Is that the same thing?
