I just connected my new ASI2600MM/DUO and I have installed all the latest drivers and Software Bisque updates. I am running The SkyXPro on a PC using Windows 10. I've connected the ASI2600MM/DUO directly into the computer with the short USB 3 cable and a 12-ft extension to get to the computer. Everything connects and each camera functions. They both work using the ASI app as well. But when I do a series of exposures with the guiding chip and try to do the same with the imaging chip I get the pesky and hated Receive Time-Out Error #209. I feel I m so close, but this has me stumped.

BSO Did you test the camera in other software, such as our software-ASIStudio or NINA to rule out the problem with the software?

Yes. I operated both cameras with the ASI Suite of applications. They operate well. I have read that this is not an uncommon issue with ZWO cameras using a windows operating system. Do you have suggestions for me to try. It is very important that I get this system operational.

Although I was not able to turn on both sensors at the same time. Can you direct me to a place in the manual that describes how to autoguide using a Paramount MX running TheSkyX Pro?

BSO You may need to search this information on the skyx manual.

I remember Skyx can control ASI camera via two drivers, one is via Sky plugin, the other is ASCOM driver, please update these two to the latest version and try both of them. thanks.

I am using the ASCOM driver now and have eliminated the Receive Time-Out Error = 209. But now I am unable to operate the guide sensor and imaging sensor simultaneously. They both operate fine when operated one at a time, but if I am running a focus series on the guiding chip, while trying to take a series with the imaging sensor the imaging sensor takes one image (maybe) and then stops. That also stops the focus series being taken by the guiding sensor. I am running the USB 3 from the camera to a USB 3 port on the computer (Dell/Windows 10). I had a thought...could I run a USB 2 cable from the USB port on the camera to a separate USB port on the computer? That would reduce the traffic on the USB 3 line. Does this make sense?

What is the version of your ASCOM driver? the newest version is 6.5.25
          https://www.zwoastro.com/software/

Could you do this to rule out the problem first?
Try other software that can control our camera via ASCOM first, such as NINA, SGP, etc, it ASI2600 DUO works fine in them, which means the ASCOM driver is fine. the problem may with SKYX.

I will check, but I just downloaded the latest ASCOM driver.

could I run a USB 2 cable from the USB port on the camera to a separate USB port on the computer? That would reduce the traffic on the USB 3 line. Does this make sense?

I did as you suggested and once again downloaded the latest ASCOM driver. That worked and the cameras both work well and last night I recorded an entire exoplanet transit. So that issue appears to be be behind me. The only issue that remains is that the autoguider's corrections do not seem to be getting to the mount. The selected guide star just drifts out of the box. Because I am using a direct connection between the camera's USB 3 connection to the computer's USB 3 port, there is no connection from the camera to the mount. Is that when the USB2 output on the camera is for--to connect to the Paramount MX usb port?

skyguy Did your mount connect to the computer? in this case, no need to connect the mount to the camera.

            5 days later

Last week, I finally got my ZWO ASI2600MM/Duo to autoguide, which is why I purchased this camera in the first place. Now on the next clear night the autoguide no longer functions(it will no longer download and display a subframe of my selected guide star. And, it certainly no longer autoguides. This is so frustrating. Nothing was changed. Can you prove a link to the most up to date ZWO native driver and tell me which ASOM version I should be using. I am about to return this camera which is not what I want to do. I have spent NO time on imaging, only troubleshooting camera issues.

Now once again, the autoguider does not seem to be sending a command to the SB MX mount. The guide starm when the autoguider works just drifts out of the FOV! I had this same problem last week and when I re-installed the ASCOM and ZWO drivers it majically worked. Now it doest't. Can you assist?

BSO In general, we recommend keeping ASCOM drivers and ASI drivers up to date.

                BSO 现在在下一个晴朗的夜晚,自动导航不再起作用(它将不再下载并显示我选择的导航星的子帧。

Is the guide camera image still refreshing? if it did, more like a guide setting problem, if it did not.
Which driver you use to conect our camera? ASI driver or ASCOM, or both of them does not work?
