So, ever since the last two software updates, this combination has difficulty plate solving a southern sky (northeast US) target - in this case M16.
While I sometimes can get it to plate solve upon initial imaging (i.e., within an hour and a half from sunset), after the meridian flip - it won't. This has happened multiple times over the past 2-3 weeks (90% of the time).
Note - it will plate solve easily with a northern sky target.
I live 15 miles north/northeast of NYC - could the glow of NYC light pollution be the reason for my difficulty? Mind you - prior to the last 2 asiair plus software upgrades - this was not an issue.
Any help would be appreciated
