Is the ASIStudio software on SourceForge the same as what is on the ZWO software website? SourceForge has previous versions of the software.

johnpd We updated many features and fixed some bug in new versions, so It is recommended to download the latest version here. https://www.zwoastro.com/software/
I asked because if there is a major bug with the latest version, it appears we can get previous versions from SourceForge.
johnpd out of curiosity - what major bug would that be?
Corsair There is a post here regarding an issue with the ASIDeepStack program in the latest release (v1.11) of ASIStudio.
https://bbs.zwoastro.com/d/18389-asistudio-v111-has-been-released/4
Although there is a temporary workaround for this problem, there may be a case where a workaround is not available. Hence the ability to revert to a previous version can come in handy.
Ah. K.
Well - I just checked the MD5 & SHA1 of the v1.11 x64 file from Sourceforge against that of the one from ZWO and they are the same.
So I would say the sourceforge files are the same.
Corsair Thanks. Good to know.
