ASIAIR mini - incorrect GOTO

Hello all,
I am trying ASIAIR mini for the first time - with a Celestron C8 mounted on a Nexstar AZ mount.
The App has the correct Date/Time and LAT/LONG data input
I can confirm this because the Altas view is identical to my Stellarium view - objects are in the same exact location.

The unit can also perform plate solving successfully - and appears to calculate the correct location.
However - when I perform a GOTO - it moves sometimes 45 degrees off target
If I do a plate-solve again and a GOTO again - it simply resets the mount position on the same incorrect location.

In this setup I have not bothered to do any star alignment with the Nexstar mount all by itself because I assume the ASIAir is performing all of the GOTO calcuations - and simply sending X/Y movement commands to the mount.

And thank you for responding.
I did discover last night what the issue is.
I was assuming the only communication between the ASIAir and the Nexstar mount was ASIAir movement commands.
I did not realize - the ASIAir in all probability requests ALT/AZ data from the mount when it is connecting to the mount.
I was informed by the cloudy nights user group that a star alignment with the Nexstar mount not connected to the ASIAir was necessary prior to the ASIAir connecting to the mount - so that the mount could provide its ALT/AZ info.

So I performed a 1 Star Alignment with the mount prior to connecting to ASIAir
By following this process the ASIAir was then able to know where the mount was pointing
From there - the system was able to perform successful GOTO movements to desired objects.
