Would be nice to see more information on the app. For example, what is the device doing during goto or during picture enhancement. This would greatly add to the live experience of the Seestar.

BHE This could be added to the instructions at some time. Information like this gives people a better understanding on how the device works. And this again can help users if there are any issues when using it.

I also like the statistics idea as long as it doesn't use to much of the screen and take the focus away from what you are imaging.

Some statistics during enhancement for example. Like a picture discard rate for the stacking.
Could be displayed as an own widget on the stargazer screen and/or as faint text directly on the gazing screen.

To much information displayed on the screen may take away the enjoyment of the S50, but an option to turn this info on or off for the advanced users would be useful, but we may have to wait a long time for such updates as ZWO seem to have gone very quiet of late when it comes to releasing any software/firmware updates. Lets hope they hear our plea's soon and come out with something worth while.

Robinb71 Agree that this has to be possible to turn on/off if its implemented. For regular users it takes the focus away but at some point this could be useful info. Regarding updates it seems that ZWO is responding to messages etc and i do understand that they don't reply to all messages here specially when many are so negative and start the dialog in a bad manner. To many new updates and people is complaining with "not so many new things" and then maybe they have refactored or optimized function even if its not in the change log. To few updates and/or without any hint about when we should expect next update is also not good. A company should not promise a update at a given date/month as things can be delayed for several reasons. But they could and should make an announcement on a timeline ish and what they have as work in progress, work that's are planned etc. Even if its "only" software ZWO cannot implement everything to everyone's need. But if they implement all the big stuph first then then can add all the other wishes when they have less work. So maybe if people also post what they like and how they use the S50. Discuss what could have been a great function to implement. Based on the activity for this its easy for ZWO to see that i.e discussion about "xxx" have lotz of activity and they think "maybe we should put this in a todo list for a new update". Don't get me wrong. I really like to utilize hardware with every possible functions as long as its doable to develop. But to much negativity is also going to affect the company/developers. New users read about it and maybe they don't buy the S50 and that's a loss for them but also for us if ZWO doesn't sell enough to defend more developing time.

Yes it might distract. Would be nice to be able to turn this on&off directly with a button the screen.
At least while goto I sometimes would like to see some distraction🙂

BHE We are currently optimizing the App as a whole, and mosaic and planned shooting are also in the development plan.

I am using the Seestar right now and what would really help is some information what is going on while goto an object. Instead of looking at the traget and scope frame surrounding each other and waiting for the 6th fail to identify the object it would be nice to know how many stars are visible to skip if only 2 or 3 have been found.
