I have the CPC 800 on a HD wedge, 60mm guide camera and 533mc main camera. When I setup my plan in "Plan Mode", I run about 6-7 plans of the same target in one night. Reason I do this is to re-center the target after 10 subs. Here is an example, I will pick the crescent nebula and take 180sec exposures and repeat it 10 times for 1 plan (30 mins total time), then it will slew again to the same target and repeat. I repeat this sequence for the other 6-7 plans for the same target and it has worked extremely well for me with no issues.
I just updated the firmware to 2.1.5(11.08) and since then, when in "Plan Mode", it won't slew and recenter after completing the first sequence of 10 images. It will say slewing but it won't and then I noticed that my telescope, main camera and guide camera would all disconnect or sometimes just one of the 3 would disconnect. I have to turn off the ASIAIR Plus and re-do the polar align and restart the plan, from where I left off. After 2-3 sequences, it happens again.
I don't believe this has anything to do with the update, as I didn't find any related issues when I searched online about the "Plan Mode", but has anyone else had this issue after the update? If so, how did you correct it? Or is this a separate issue? I reinstalled the software and still get the same issue. Please help!
