I'm gonna need to buy a tablet to operate the Seestar. I have a phone but it's too small. It's also Android 8.
What tablet do you use? Are you happy with your combination? Do you wish you had bigger/better/faster RAM/CPU/display/storage?
Thanks.

I use a Samsung Galaxy Tab 7 lite 32GB 8.7" screen. Runs the latest Android OS, WiFi, Bluetooth ect. I've had no issue with connection to my Seestar that I set up in the garden and operate from my conservatory in the warm.
Available from Amazon...
Samsung Galaxy Tab A7 Lite SM-T220N 32 GB 22.1 cm (8.7") 3 GB Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) Silver https://amzn.eu/d/c5XLzC4
iPad Pro ( 4th gen )
Does the SeeStar s50 app display full screen on the Galaxy Tab 7 lite?
Thank you

Hi, yes the Galaxy tab shows full screen, I've been using it with my Seestar since I purchased it. Battery life is very good, and runs all the latest apps.
After connecting initially with my phone for GPS-Data I switch to an old FireHD8 Tablet. (It has no own GPS).
That is one of the things I absoluetly love about the S50: No active Internet connection required. <3
Seestar_S50 Thanks... I guess that's what I'll get. My first thought was that the A7 might struggle with only 3GB RAM but you would have mentioned lack of performance if any. Stay warm.
Thanks for the replies to my question. I will purchase a Galaxy Tab 7.

FTR: Galaxy Tab A9+ also works like a charm with the app.
xfirf What's the process of transferring control from your phone to your tablet? I thought I read in the manual that this isn't supported.
I found last week that I could connect a second device to the Seestar after using one or the other (iphone or ipad) to get started and was then able to control it from the second device
I use an iPad Pro 12.9, 2nd generation (2017?) refurbed. I see them on Amazon now for around $300. Works wonderfully, and the size of the display can't be beat!
