I recently purchased a QHY camera for solar imaging (qhy 174 C). Worked great, but when I transferred the camera to another refractor with a EAF installed, the focuser crashed as soon as I plugged in the QHY camera. It took several hours and a firmware update to get it going again. But as soon as I plugged both the EAF and QHY into the same computer, it crashed again. Obviously I used several different cables, and the same thing happened when I plugged the QHY into another telescope (and computer) with a second EAF.
Are they incompatible? I still can't get the computer to recognize the EAF.
