Hello all,
yesterday and many times before I had an imaging session with the ASIAIR Plus without any major issues. This morning I wanted to do some Darks and Bias frames for Calibration for the Lights from last night. So far so good, I did the Bias and then started the Darks. After an few the problems began. The AA shut itself off and rebooted shortly after and reconnected to the App. The Camera (ASI585MC Pro) was inactive and I had to activate it manually. The AA did the same again, it rebooted again. I did a restart via the App, it started, beeped, and after 30 Seconds it went into an seemingly endless booting loop, which persistet even after I tried soft shutdown from the app when I had a longer connection. Instead of shutting down it did a restart and again went in the infinite booting loop. Thats all it does since then.
I did try with no connections of 12V and USB, just the AA alone with the power supply. Same issue.
Startup > beep > WiFi connection success (not always) > max 30s > first the WiFi signal dies and the Green SYS light is on (no flicker) everything shuts off > Restart > loop
The Reset button did nothing noticeable. I pushed it for far more than 10s, nothing
When I had a longer connection I managed to do a successful Firmware Reset and Reinstallation, Problem still there.
I searched this and other forums and couldn't find useful info besides a power issue or a problem with the AA itself.
The app says it has sufficient voltage input of 12.0V/ca 0.3A with only the AA, 1,1A with everything connected. The Voltage outputs also hat stable 12V +/- 0,1
My device is the following:
ASIAIR Plus (App Version 2.2.1, Firmware 11.26)
The power converter I use is 12V/3A the AC supply is my house; I know maybe it's to weak but I used this for every session with full equipment (mount, camera, guiding, AA, everything) for many years without any issues. Maybe something got damaged that night due to high humidity or something else?
I will order a 5A converter, and I hope this will solve my problems, otherwise I have to keep troubleshooting, or maybe someone on here has a solution?
Thanks
Lukas
