First, I upgraded to 2.2.2. There were many WIFI disconnects and many camera disconnects, not so much of the freezing in mid exposure. This version is unusable because of all the disconnects. I tried both station mode and direct connection to the ASIAir wifi. Neither was successful. With my phone about six feet away with direct line of sight to the antenna, it cannot maintain a connection.
At that point, I downgraded to 2.1.2 and its associated firmware. This version cannot execute a meridian flip without getting lost. It cannot goto the home position or any other object after the flip.
From there, I upgraded to 2.1.5 and associated firmware. This version has a problem with polar alignment. You can easily get an accurate polar alignment, but then the mount is lost and cannot goto anything. It took three polar alignments before I could goto anything. There is also the problem with WIFI and the camera disconnecting with this version.
Currently, it seems there is no way to use this setup with any version of the ASIair software. But then, I see many of the same complaints with ZWO cameras as well.
