2600MC Air connectivity issue after several hours

I find that pretty much every imaging session, after a few hours go by, I can no longer get the app to connect up with my 2600MC Air. It is still running the Plan, but I can't get in to see anything/do anything. Anyone else have this issue?

I have had the same issue. I was no more than about 10 metres away and it kept dropping out. To reconnect I would go to setting and turn my wifi off and on again and it would reconnect. I have had to do this multiple times.

I had hoped ZWO had solved their connectivity issues on the Air products. Appears not so. My Seestar connection at the same distance has not dropped out

Same issues here... 2600MC Air drops out frequently during a session.. the Pro model never did. Both in same location. I have reported this and sent logs. Hoe they find it and fix it.

Sorry for the trouble, may i know the ASIAIR app and firmware version you used? and did you connect it to your home wifi in Station mode? wifi banding may also affect the connection, what wifi banding you setted?
Also, there is a RESET button on the AISAIR 2600AIR to reset the wifi. boot on and long press it to try.

Both... I genrally use 2.4 because it has better range, but both are frequently failing. Last night in a two hour session I had 7 failures of WiFI. The camera and my laptop are 25 feet apart. Never had this problem with older ASIAir versions.

azskyguy most wifi signals are vertically polarized. Both the transmitting antenna and receiving antenna want to be vertical for maximum signal level/range. When the angle between the two varies the signal goes like the cosine squared of the angle. ( ie, a 45 degree angle will result in a 3dB power loss (half the signal). Do you see any correlation between the orientation of the camera/antenna and your dropouts?

retman When I go to a new target I always orient the antenna vertically. Worked fine before these latest updates.

retman Change wifi band to 5Ghz to try, 2.4Ghz band wifi may be more susceptible to interference from other co-channel signals
