Reverting to older versions of ASIAIR app and firmware for macos, iOS and iPadOS

well I'm in the situation of having bought an ASAIR mini in the spring, and worked fine. I didn't have to download that firmwae since it loaded when I first started it up. It worked fine, then being a 'newbie' I mistakenly allowed the update of 2.1 to load figuring - what could go wrong... wrong.. The mini now won't connect to my AVX mount - also updated to 2.2 and I have a red paperweight and no old original version to go back to. WTF do I do? ZWO has been no help. They ask for a log but it won't produce a log when it disconnects from the wifi no connection to the mount.
Catch 22 rules this company apparently.

For those that have been backing up the older versions of the app for their Apple devices as mentioned in @w7ay original post:

If you don't use the CAA and are on Apple and are having issues with firmware v2.3.1/2.3.2 then I recommend downgrading the version of the firmware/app pair and making sure to turn off auto update for apps (unfortunately - with Apple - you can only do it for all apps) via the App Store app.

That way you can run the version of the ASIAIR App of your choice (i.e. the version that worked for you) and choose when you want to upgrade.

Reviving an old thread. I have an AA+ and connect using an iphone and ipad. Of course, I prefer connecting via ipad with the larger screen.

However, the iphone is using version 2.3.3, which is stable. The ipad recently downloaded version 2.4.1, and when I try to use it, it wants to update my AA+ firmware. I declined and exited out.

So how can I install 2.3.3 onto my ipad? Will the process shown above via iMazing allow me to copy the 2.3.3 version from my iphone to my ipad so that I can have 2.3.3 running on the ipad?

BTW, I have iphone apps synch to my ipad but it does not appear to work for the AA app.

Thanks but that doesn't work for me. I can use that link and download and install TF, but then when I go to download and open the older version of ASIAir in TF, it first asks for a developer invitation code (just like in the instructions in rhe linked page). Not sure where I get that from ZWO. I've asked in the linked thread and elsewhere but no one seems to know.

Remember the firmware on the ASIAIR has to match the App version on your device.

You may need to do a reset of the firmware on the ASIAIR first.
You can do this by connecting to your ASIAIR with the ASIAIR App, going to the "i"/About screen, then selecting Reset Firmware.

Once reset, make sure you aren't connected to the ASIAIR and don't have the App open, uninstall the App from your phone, then install the version of the App you want from TestFlight.

You then connect to the ASIAIR, launch the App you installed from TestFlight, and you should be prompted to upgrade the firmware on the ASIAIR to match the version of the App on your phone.

I have all versions 2.1.5… 2.3.3 and will be downgrading members at my club members this weekend.

Another kudos from me too. After my 2.3.3 iOS version from TestFlight expired, I tried 2.4.2 and had problems. Luckily, I was able to get a copy of 2.3.3 from someone on this thread and used the iMazing app (https://imazing.com/), Mac, and iPad to revert back to 2.3.3 without a time limit. Converting the app to .ipa and transferring it from Mac to iPad took a little googling but worked like a charm.
