I'm hoping someone can help me with an EAF issue that I'm having.
Over the past two nights I've been getting the "range <900" error more and more. I'd say that the focuser is failing 50% of the time. But it seems to be sporadic.
I've seen this error occur when the EAF tries to refocus after changing targets in a plan and when trying to refocus due to a temperature change. But the EAF does refocus after a meridian flip and it does not always fail when refocusing after a temperature change. I de-activeated the re-focus after target change and that error stopped 🙂
I checked the connection and the EAF is connected securely to the scope (William Optics Z73).
Any ideas? I don't see a lot of good info re: this error. I'm not sure if it's software or hardware...
