When opening 'image management' in the ASIAir app on my android phone to check up on an active imaging session, it meanwhile takes more than 60s until the folders are shown. I also first get a message 'no image yet' after about 30s. This did not happen before, I could almost instantly access 'image management' to check the content on my USB stick.
As I almost never deleted any files, the amount of data stored has just gradually increased.
So a few questions regarding best practices for USB stick handling:
1) Is it normal behavior that 'image management' needs more time if the stick is fuller - or is it unrelated and the root cause is something different? That would mean it would be better to always keep the stick fairly empty for smooth operations - but I cannot imagine that to be the solution since I bought a large stick precisely so I don't need to clear it up too often.
2) For everyday usage, is it enough to add/remove files come and go, or do I need to frequently format it? I would expect formatting is only necessary when there is an actual problem. But I wonder if ASIAir is using some kind of internal indexing/library system which makes it necessary to reformat everytime the data structure is changed.
3) If I reformat, will I lose my saved 'favorite objects'?
