Hello, This is not the answer tp my question.
I want to pilot my asiair from my PC (windows 10) using an ethernet connection. I first connect to asiair wifi from my Ipad and then execute ipad's asiair application which works perfectly.
Then, I go to my PC computer, connect to asiair using an ethernet cable and execute bluestacks 5. When I execute the latest asiair apk from bluestacks, I receive an error message connection failed with four lines to try to reconnect which are not understandable:
quit and reopen asiair app: which one the one from my ipad or from bluestacks?
turn of wlan then turn on it: wlan on my ipad or my computer (which is off since I use the ethernet connection)
forget asiair wifi then reconnect: is it the wifi of my ipad?
reboot your ipad ???
Sorry but it is unclear for me and would be explained correctly on a youtube video.

I wouldn't worry about it at all. 1 second of longitude difference is approx 100 ft. For pointing and plate solving it's insignificant.

Seems that connection to mount for CEM60 has issues now. I get a “check cable and network connection” where that didn’t happen before. Other people are reporting this issue. Do we have any way to remedy before next update? CEM60 with ASI users and Mobil IOS are dead in water until then.

Whenever an ASIAir firmware update is loaded, only user space software is updated. ASIAir is running on a very old Linux kernel that doesn't have support for modern device drivers like FTDI, which is used by iOptron and SkyWatcher and which is very common nowadays. Adding native support would mean updating the Linux system and that is difficult given the way the updates are loaded and installed.

@PMTeam@ZWO I had several issues during last imaging session with the new firmware:

When I open a new image and try to goto, the mount moves in wrong direction. If I then stop the goto and try again, the direction is correct. It only happens with a new, unsolved image at the first goto. If the image is already solved it works correctly. It is not a new issue - it has been behaving this way at least in couple of last versions.
In "today's best" view, meridian crossing of the IC434 was off by 10 minutes. Actual crossing, according to the map view, was 10 minutes later.
After imaging for an hour or so, when checking the sky map, the map view shows the scope has drifted way off the target, when in fact it is still imaging it just fine.

I am not sure why ZWO is not fixing the ASIAIR connection issues with iOptron mounts like GEM45, CEM60 etc. It has become annoying to a point where I am going to consider ditching ASIAIR and using NINA or the new ToupTek product. It seems ZWO doesn’t care about the customers any more.

I have tried using numerous cables and USB hubs. It worked somewhat before the new release. After this update, nothing works.

Hello, I am trying to pilot my asiair using an ethernet connection and bluestacks. I am using a PC windows 10 home, latest version of bluestacks and ZWO asiair apk 2.1. I would like to upgrade to v2.3. Whenever I load asiair v2.3 apk from bluestacks, I receive a message : unfortunately, this application cannot be installed. Bluestacks keeps the older version of asiar 2.1 but does not accept v2.3?
I do not understand why, thanks for your help.

I agree with Mirkom, Ashutoshv, and others; The lack of response from ZWO on the connection issues with IOptron mounts is forcing many of us to abandon the ASIAIR and move to other platforms like NINA with a Mini PC. Investing in a different mount makes no sense given that I, for one, am very satisfied with the performance of my CEM60. A quality mount is 10+ times the cost of an ASIAIR. Please respond.

I loaded the v2.3 version on my Ipad! It works fine on my ASIair Pro, but won't open my old ASIair, the one in the white box. It gets as far as the Enter page then all I get is the wheel of wait. It says connected at the top, just won't go any further. I am right in the middle of a ten day run at Siding Springs Observatory, I would really like to sort it out if someone can help. Thank you .

This is on version 2.3 / 11.56. Ioptron HAE43 works with ASIAir Plus, but not with ASIAir Pro. Error message on ASIAir Pro is Connect Failed. Please make sure the mount is connected with the serial cable and the baud are correct. Not sure at which release the AA Pro stopped working with the HAE43. Both the Pro and the Plus work with my Ioptron CEM40. Same cabling in both setups, tried with and without usb hub. I reloaded from scratch on the Pro, and then it updated to current release. Still no joy.
I do vaguely recall something about changing the baud rate eons ago, but there seems to be no way to do it now, and why would it work on the Plus, but not the Pro. Any ideas?

I have similar issues: When I connect to my new ASIAIR Plus 256G every second imaging session ends with a connoting issue. I assume the the hole system crashes, because not only I lose the WIFI connection (both direct and stationary tested) but also I must hard restart the ASIAIR to regain access. My image session has stopped after a few images even though I waited a longer time (without connection) to capture some more images.

I have a AM5 and a ASI2600MM Pro.

I never got an error because I wasn't patient enough after waiting two minutes I just stopped it took HP and restarted. I have cgem2 btw so basically same thing.
I most use all star align because polaris is blocked by trees

Hello ZWO Team, I use 2 ASiair (256gb) with 2 different iPads with the AM3 and AM5, until version 2.1 everything worked perfectly, since then I have massive Wifi problems, the connection breaks off several times during the night and Auto Reconnecting is displayed but the connection is not established, I have to deactivate and reactivate the Wifi on the iPad so that the connection works again. When does ZWO intend to finally solve this problem? So many users have been complaining about connection problems for months, this is really no longer acceptable. I don't understand the problem either, everything worked fine with earlier versions, it must finally be possible to solve this.

brazzo229 Agreed... same for the 2600 Air with built in Wifi. It constantly drops out, and has never successfully reconnected. I have to switch to another network, and then back. And the air has no ethernet port so it's WiFi or nothing. This needs fixing. Yesterday.

When will the new types of strainwave mounts (Wave 100i, 150i, HAE 16C and 18C) be added to the list of mounts in the asi-air software?
