Can't connect ASIAIR Plus 256GB to CEM60

Greetings I’m having this issue too. It’s only started after the recent updates. It actually tried to connect the mount (CEM60) but boots off with the error message to check cable or network connection. Please push an update for the app or let us know how we can roll back a version. I’m using IOS mobile device.

While I empathize with others having this same problem, after weeks of seemingly being the only one who had the issue it is nice to see that I am not alone. Adding more voices here will certainly help move this problem up the list for an eventual fix in the iOS software.

The work around I got for it is that I’m using an android emulator (bluestacks) running ASIAIR on my PC laptop and connect to it via IP address. This seems to work.

That is quite a workaround @mirkom - though having to use a PC to control the system seems to defeat the purpose of the ASIAIR. Come on ZWO - get a patch out!

Asiair has a new firmware, for the time being only available on TestFlight. I tested it and it works fine.

It seems I will need a redeem code to get access to this - where did you get this redeem code?

I got a link from another post on Cloudy Nights and ran the beta software in TestFlight and can confirm that it works! Not too bad - just over a month from my first post about this issue on December 17th to a new version release. Thanks!

Hi Zwo team,
Ten months later (november 2025) and exact the same issue again.
Using my Samsung A55 (android version 16) and ASIair app version 2.4.4 12-73 my CEM60 and ASIAIR are not able to connect smoothly. More precisely, the mount connects and then immediately disconnects. I also tried 3 different cables with no avail. After some searching I found this conversation on the internet

After repeatedly starting up the ASIair and mount, the connection is often successful after repeated attempts. This then remains constant until the mount is set of at the end of a session. However, this is not what you want, you want everything to run smoothly straight away.

what can I do to prevent this problem?

If you want it to actually work, revert to a previous known-good version as it's clear ZWO creates bugs but never fixes any since June 2025. In your case, probably version 2.2.2.
