What’s the typical time for image rendering when taking a single shot in Preview mode…?
Setup:
- AA Mini with latest firmware, powered by Ioptron CEM 26 12V (steady 12.1 volts out with less than 1 amp draw)
- 1200 mini cam connected to guidescope and Into mini
- Nikon D 5300 - connected into Mini usb, does not draw any power from mini (all settings turned off/met, eg NR off, RAW, single shot, blah blah….)
- Mount powered by EcoFlow River 2, plenty of headroom and draws little power
What I’m experiencing: when I hit the exposure button on iPad (5th gen iPod with ONLY APP INSTALLED BEING AA….), it fires right away, transfers at anywhere from 2.5-5 mb/sec with “loading” message showing in lower right corner, then it goes to “idle” with the iOS circling starburst. 12 seconds after firing the shutter it finally renders the image. Is this normal? I then tried AA app on an iphone8 (again a dedicated phone with no apps installed), it took 8-9 seconds so shaved some time…
I tried saving as 12 bit raw file, no change in speed.
Tried connecting to mini using 5g, that shaved 2 seconds.
All saves were to Bin 1.
