Are the directions I see on my phone/tablet true or are there inversions? I.e. is north strait up, east 90 degrees clockwise, etc, in the northern hemisphere?
Would it be possible to display the current alt/az values somewhere in the live view? This would help to know when the seestar is getting close to visual obstructions like trees or buildings.
