Dear all,

Is it possible with the S50 to take sequences of images of the same object over a long period? For example, to observe a field to detect a moving object, a variable star, a star with exoplanets, etc...
Using the same image parameters, of course.

Also, is it possible to ‘programming’ several observations of several objects or stars over the course of a night ?

You can take pictures of the same target over a long period of time and save the images, but not a continuous image;
What are you trying to do with ‘progranming’ observations of celestial bodies or planets?

I may have expressed my questions incorrectly.

For my first question, you developed a very interesting function in Asicap for Zwo Camera. The button called Auto run. We can take a large number of images in succession by controlling the delay between images and the image parameters. Is this possible in this case ? The delay between the image could be a first step. I use several Zwo cameras and it's very useful.
For the second question, the idea would be to be able to schedule visible observations of multiple objets in a night, without having to be constantly behind a tablet and the instrument. Do you propose a solution ?

3Yx0UzeH Regarding the first question, if you want to do continuous shooting in S50, you need to turn on ‘live’ in the advanced function and turn off ‘Select Save Single’; the second question is not supported at the moment. You can wait for our planned shooting feature in the next version.

I think that the "planned shooting feature" can be very useful for many observers.

On your website of Seestar, You say also the mobile app Android is usable with W11. Can you give some explanations or more information about this ? Exists some tutos to do that ?

3Yx0UzeH The exposure time can be adjusted in the advanced settings (with options for 10s, 20s, and 30s). Currently, we do not support using Seestar on the PC. Could you let me know where you saw this information? Could you share the link with me to take a look?

It is recommended that you use the station mode and let the router act as a relay station so you can put the device outdoors and observe the shooting data at home.

I don't have any good ideas, I'm just suggesting using station mode to allow the phone to double its distance from the Seestar, so you can try that.

Actually, if the emulator supports it when you use it, you can also do it remotely...
But it's a matter of probability, Bluetooth authentication is generally required...

If you need to operate over long distances (e.g. over 1km) there is not a viable solution at this time.

At this stage, I'm not looking to make very very long-distance connections, but at maximum distances of 20 metres, while remaining protected from the temperature for example.
In my opinion, this could be of great technical interest to many users.

Since the current WiFi connection between the device and Seestar with has a range of about 10 meters, you can try this method to get the connection distance increased to 20 meters.
