Meridian Flip failed on two identical setups

Just now the Meridian Flip failed in two setups. The telescopes then pointed in completely wrong directions. Both an EQ8-R and on both an ASIAIR+ with the latest version. A third ASIAIR+ was used with an RST-135 and the flip worked here. So it must probably have something to do with the EQ8-R.

What could be the cause? Another plat solving did not help, because after solving and restarting, the telescopes moved in different directions and completely wrong. Switching the mounts on and off did not help. Only restarting the ASIAIR helped.

I didn't have these problems with the previous version.

dane Hello. For the EQ8-R and ASIAIR PLUS combination, after the error occurs, did the ASIAIR shut down? If not, please send us the error log, thank you.

Hi.

After both setups were misaligned, I then took a photo of both, performed a plate-solve, and approached the original object in front of the flip again. Unfortunately, both setups were pointing in completely the wrong direction. The plate solve was constantly corrected in smaller steps, although the alignment was completely wrong. Even switching off only the mount and switching it on with the zero position aligned did nothing. A Goto from the restarted zero position did nothing, and completely wrong positions were reached again during the Goto. Closing the app on the tablet did not help either. The only solution was to close ASIAIR and switch it on again. Presumably logs were not saved by switching off and on?

Hi. Ok Thank you. But am I the only one who has experienced this after the latest update? It's no coincidence that two ASIAIRs and two EQ8-R mounts have exactly the same problem.
