This is what I am also wondering, how do I know where is the mechanical zero position?
Now that I've bought the CAA my first session was not too bad.
- Installed CAA Body pointing down
- Open ASIAIR, CAA recognised, showed circular dial
- I chose to limit by 180 deg
- Dial swapped to half circle, left is active and right greyed out.
- Fine and dandy, took some test images, happy
But then, needed to correct back focus, removed everything and installed again CAA is in same position as before (body pointing down), now the half circle is at an angle i.e. diagonal.
To make things worst, even after selecting limit of 180 deg, I got full rotation to the point cables twisted.
A couple of disconnects USB cable and toggle switch within ASIAIR seemed to sort out the glitch.
But the half circle is still where it is, diagonal
I'll take some pictures later in the evening and post them (mostly will make a new thread).
But I'm worried to leave things unattended or might just frame and disconnect CAA. It seems glitchy..
When I post a new thread later this evening I'll provide further details like firmware.
But certainly would like to know how to located mechanical zero and how to reset it.
