please adjust the telescope position

with Firmware 4.0 pn S50 finding objects will no longer work for me. It fails with „ please adjust the telescope position if it is blocked. If the image is blurred, please focus first ‚ and it looks in all different directions different where it should be. All adjustments including compass and nivwau are done multiple times. Sick and tired of trying to manage. Think I better give it back to the dealer asking for refund and go to something else. Uploaded logs to your support as requested, but silence all over. About to loose trust. When can I expect an answer, or even better, a fix. Doesn‘t look like I‘m the only one.

It is just a warning message that appears for all users, not an error. It appears for me too, and I just wait some seconds and finds the object normally and loads the live image.

Hi there,
for some reason my reply to you disappeared ...
From my memories I recall I told you:
all setup and calibration was done according to instructions. After firmware update I was asked for my position, which I check double before I entered.
I attached two pictures

, here you go again. I could spot Venus easily with my hand camera, S50 pointed in a total wrong direction:
Depend on your help, otherwise I have to return to dealer, it's not workinng for too long :-(

Please you click on the plus and minus symbols on the right side of the screen, then click on manual, turn down the exposure time to about 5, turn down the gain to the lowest (or the opposite of both), and adjust it to the right position is to click on AF

Hi there, posting a suggestion from another Forum user related to the same situation:

"Have you performed the requested manual focus as the message requests? Pint to a bright star, manually focus, make note of the focus value, then attempt to go to a DSO. If that is successful, change the default focus value to this new value (Me->Focus->Star Focus POS Default."

I'm facing the same issue, I'll try this solution tonight (hoping in a clear sky)....

Salve Giancagero,
I managed to make nice pictures from Sun and Moon, all manually found and yes, I did this focus think back and forth.

but no real success. Maybe the mistake is behind the machine. However, it would be nice to read some meaningful reaction from someone in Seestar. But apparently after sales service is not their domain of excellence. Proof different?
