Seestar s50 leveling

I have a problem with leveling my seestar. I set the leveling to 0.1. Great! I point out a few positions from the atlas. Seestar "travels" across the sky. Everything is great. I go back to leveling and I see not 0.1 but 2.0. Strange, seestar is mounted on a heavy tripod and stands on a solid surface. I level it again to 0.1. I watch various objects in the sky. I go to options and again the leveling is over 2 degrees.
On the other hand, when I set the leveling to 1 degree and "travel" across the sky and go to options I see a maximum difference of 0.4 degrees (it shows leveling from 0.9 to 1.3). Is this correct behavior or do I need to calibrate the sensor? Please help.

I also observed this problem.

I had this issue last night trying to photograph the moon. I calibrated, set compass and levelled to 0.2.

When I hit go to it asked me to calibrate compass again which I did, then it asked me to level again ( it was out by 3.0). I levelled again then asked me to calibrate compass again. I was going around in circles for 40 minutes and in frustration I shut down.

The obvious question is "Did you do the Level Sensor Calibration" prior to taking the Seestar outside? Not the "Adjust Level" which do every time you set up outside, but the procedure you do when you first get the Seestar to teach it what level looks like so it can give you the correct feedback when you are performing the "Adjust Level" procedure. Forgive me if you did, but it is the first place to check.

curtismacc Hi. Wherever I read, they write everywhere not to calibrate this internal sensor. No, I haven't done it yet. I'm waiting here for official information from @support@Seestar whether I should perform this procedure or not. There is no option to return to the default values if I perform this calibration incorrectly.

Du kannst das Problem lösen, indem Du nach dem Nivellieren den Seestar um 180 Grad drehst und nochmal Nivellierst.
Dazu musst Du aber einen 360 Grad Panoramakopf auf das Seestar Stativ montieren, mit dem Du dann den Seestar sauber horizontal drehen kannst. Das hilft auch bei der Compass Calibration und funktioniert hervorragend. So ein Schwenkkopf kostet nicht viel und hat sich sehr gut bewährt.

Mariusz I don't know where you read this and who is saying this but they are wrong. Or maybe you just misunderstand? Or maybe they think that it comes accurately level calibrated at the factory. If the later case it appears that your unit may not be properly calibrated. In any case, following the procedure for the Level Sensor Calibration will not cause a problem. You can do this procedure over and over again if you don't get it right the first time or it drifts over time. There is even a tutorial on the Seestar App showing how to do this. Do you think ZWO would provide this tutorial if it was not acceptable to follow it?
Either you can follow the tutorial and do the Level Sensor Calibration to ensure that you are getting the proper feedback circles when you level the Seestar outside, or you can continue to wonder what is wrong. If you do the Calibration correctly and you still have a problem at least you have begun to narrow down the root cause. If you are not sure about how to do this calibration even after watching the tutorial you can do a Google search to find my Seestar video which shows step by step how to do it. It is one of those Dummies videos.

I observed this as well. I also observed that if I proceed with my deepsky imaging without re-leveling, there seems to be no consequences - no increase in the number of dropped subs compared to previous sessions where the level appeared to hold.
