I've always wanted to take this picture. The magic of the S30 and 'mosaic mode' have made that possible! The full size image looks even better!

Support@Seestar I would love it if I could take such wide field panoramas with the S50. Unfortunately, the 2x mosaic of the S50 is too small for this. It would be great if ZWO could extend the mosaic function of the Seestar App so that S50 mosaics could also be created at 4x size. I remember even seeing this scale in an earlier beta preview of the app.
Thanks!
I'm really impressed with the S30's capabilities - especially considering that mage was taken less than 50 miles from Chicago with a 30mm aperture instrument.

Digital Don This is a need I've fed back on before, and I'll feed back again on the idea that many users would like to increase the creation of larger fields of view for mosaics.
The ability to take wide-field pictures like this is the main reason I bought an S30.
I agree that extending the mosaic feature even further would be beneficial not only for the S50 but also the S30. But remember the downside to the mosaic function is that it requires a lot of time.
Digital Don This is why it is so important to be able to take mosaic images over multiple nights, not in one long sitting like the framing mode works right now.
I realize that the exposure time increases significantly with large mosaics, but on the other hand, large mosaics are more interesting for star fields, where you can get good results with fewer lights.
